students to become directly involved in their living
environment! These positions are
elected at the beginning of each semester. Click

Provides leadership
and assistance to members of Hall Council.
Each Hall their
own individual constitution that outlines the
organization and governance of their Hall Council.
While positions may differ, the President is
responsible for filling all positions listed by
their constitution as well as required positions as
outlined under the RSA Constitution. Some of the more common position include:
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
2 RSA representatives
1 or 2 Congress Representatives
Food Advisory
Board (FAB) Representatives
An Area Assessment Representative
Floor
representatives

Attends
meetings as scheduled with the RSA President
Verifies attendance of Council Reps at meetings (Presidents
are not allowed to attend meetings as a proxy)
Keeps in contact with Residential
Coordinator / Head Resident
and Hall executive board
Solicits appropriate
assistance
from RSA
During Hall Council
Meetings, facilitates reports from
RSA General Assembly, Student Congress, FAB;
and on programming,
finance and topics and
issues that need to be voted on.
