If you wish to live in one of the residence halls, you have three options:
1. Reclaim Current Room*:
Wednesday, March 12
You may come to the Morton/Brentano lobby (“the Pit”)
between 2pm~5pm to reclaim your current room.
* rooms in Moore Hall cannot be reclaimed
2. Claim Open Rooms in Current Hall:
Thursday, March 13
If you did not reclaim your current room, you may go to your
hall office and select an open room in your hall. Open room
charts will be posted by noon in the Residence Life Office
and in the individual halls. Rising seniors register from
8pm~8:30pm, rising juniors from 8:30pm~9pm and rising
sophomores from 9pm~9:30pm.
*students currently living in Moore wishing to return to
Moore, should come to the Moore Office during these times to
claim a room in Moore Hall
3. Residence Hall Lottery Process:
Friday, March 14 – Wednesday March

If you did not reclaim your current room or obtain another
room in your hall, you will have the opportunity to select a
room in another hall through the Residence Hall Lottery
Process. Please read the Residence Hall Lottery Process
section.
Note:
Any spaces reclaimed or chosen during this process are
subject to adjustment or reassignment by the Office of
Residence Life if necessary.
Important facts to remember!

If you reclaim your current room, you cannot try for another room within
your hall or another hall.

Please have a roommate in mind when you sign up for a room.

Please bring your student ID and a signed contract when you select a room.

PROXY INFORMATION: If you are unable to be there for a housing
selection, it is possible to send another person in your place. This
person is known as your proxy. Your proxy must bring your housing
contract and your student ID to select a room for you. Please make
sure your proxy knows all your choices and preferences. Your proxy
will not be able to sign your housing contract or any other housing
documents for you. Please have the necessary documents signed and
ready for your proxy in advance.

Once you have your room assignment, you are finished with the housing
process.

Due to projected occupancy numbers, single rooms will
not be granted during the housing selection process, but you can sign up to
be on a single room wait list.
