UE Meal Plans

Campus Meal Plan Requirements   Students living in a campus residence hall are required to purchase a Block 200, Block 150 or Block 100 Plan.  The three plans available to residence hall students are offered at the same cost.  Each plan includes a declining balance debit card component to offer flexibility and ease to students.

To provide student dining services at the highest value and lowest possible cost, there must be a consistent level of participation in our three basic plans (the Block 100, 150, & 200) by students living in the residence halls.  As cooking facilities in the residence halls are limited it is also important to minimize the number of individuals with reduced plans or no plans.  For these reasons all students living in the residence halls must participate in one of our basic meal plans.

Village residents, fraternity house residents and seniors living in residence halls have the option of purchasing the Block 40 Plan. A meal plan is not required for Villages residents, fraternity residents or commuters. Students with a meal plan who move to Villages or fraternity housing after the meal change deadline must wait until the beginning of the following semester to change or drop their meal plan.

Meal Plan Changes:
Fall: Change your plan up to the first Thursday of the first full week of school.
Spring: Change your plan up to the first Wednesday of the first full week of school.

Meal Plan Selections: If you are not able to select a meal plan at the time of application, we shall temporarily assign you to one of our most popular plans.  Your meal plan can be selected or changed during SOAR or any time prior to 5pm Thursday of the first week of school.

Meal Plans are not in operation during Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, or Easter Break
