Laundry Facilities: 10 Washers, 14 Dryers, and laundry card reader

Guest Rooms: Two available

24 Hour Visitation: Available on bottom two floors not designated as freshman floors

Smoking: Not Allowed

Air Conditioning: No

Carpeting: Main only

Lofts: Allowed on wings only, must be approved by the Residential Coordinator

Furniture: Two beds, dressers, desks, and wardrobes or closets; Furniture is built-in on the wings and movable on the main floor

Other Features: Air conditioned study lounge, TV Lounge, furnished lobbies, recreation equipment

History: UE's oldest residence hall, Hughes opened in 1958 and was named for Dr. Alfred F. Hughes, first president of the University.
