Global Living & Learning Community

The Global Living & Learning Community is geared toward students who are creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about living in a residential community where the study of foreign languages, global society and cultural diversity are a routine component of their daily lives.  (See article from the Crescent Newspaper)

This residential learning community is available to UE students interested in Foreign Languages (at all levels), International Studies, Global Business and Study Abroad. Several spaces are also open to International Students.

Students living in this community will have the benefit of:

  • Regularly scheduled multi-lingual cultural events

  • Access to international TV broadcasts and foreign language resources

  • Conversation groups in various languages

  • Visits by speakers /guests from the professional and academic worlds

  • Resources that contribute to a better understanding of the world, its cultures, and the workings of the global community

Located on the second floor of Moore Hall, the Global Living and Learning Community is part of a co-ed grouping of new and returning students wanting to get more out of their college experience.
