Your Hall's volunteer
project is wrapping up!
 Each Residence
Hall has been doing something to make a difference in the
Evansville community. There may still be time to contribute to your Hall's
project! Discuss what you can do with your RA, Hall Council
and Pause for a Cause Representative.

Housing Contract Cancellations
Contracts can
be cancelled without penalty by November 2 for the Spring semester for the
reasons listed below. Cancellation requests made after these deadlines can
result in the loss of the housing deposit and an additional $200 cancellation
fee. Requests falling in the categories below will be considered:
* Attending
Harlaxton College or studying abroad
* Requests to reside locally with parents, legal guardians or immediate family
* Entering a co-op job, internship or clinical outside the Evansville area
* Transferring, withdrawing or graduating
Other requests
are typically not granted. Requests to move off campus to live with friends
or move into an apartment are not sufficient reasons to cancel a UE housing
contract. Entering into any other housing agreement or lease with a private
landlord will have no effect upon the conditions of your contract with the
University of Evansville. |
RA Selection for Spring Positions
& for people who can't interview during
spring Semester
Are you looking
for a rewarding job that lets you interact with people? Have you ever considered
being a Resident Assistant? Well, if so - you are in luck! We are now selecting
RAs for spring!
And for those
students who will be at Harlaxton College in the spring who want to interview
for 2010-2011 RA positions - RA applications and interviews are also taking
place at this time.
Applications
are available now in the Office of Residence Life! They are due back by
Friday, Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. If you have questions, feel free to contact Kelsey
Baize at 488-2107.

Roll Call has been off to a great start!
This
Fall, students
in the residence halls competed for attendance at selected games including UE
volleyball and men's and women’s soccer games!
Each hall had
attendees at each game! The winner is Powell Hall with 23% of their Hall!
Congrats Powell Hall!
We hope to see you all at the winter games for Res Hall Roll Call!

General Assembly meetings are on Thursday nights at 7pm in Graves 302---everyone
is welcome!
BLOOD DRIVE- Battle of the Halls
Blood is
the gift of life and from Monday Nov. 30 to Dec. 1st RSA will be holding a
blood drive with the Indiana Blood Bank in Eykamp Hall 251 and 252.
Battle it
out between other halls to be the most generous with you blood and win some
awesome prizes!!! There will be t-shirts for those who participate.
Also, a big thank you
to all that helped with
the Halloween Bash.
